Basate su LED ad altissima resa luminosa queste lampade possono sostituire le normali lampade ad incandescenza dotate dei normali attacchi E27 (a vite grande) ed E14 (a vite piccola) permettendo immediati vantaggi in termini di risparmio energetico (e quindi economico) dati dai bassissimi consumi.
Ma i vantaggi non finiscono qui in quanto le basse emissioni di calore permettono di alloggiare le lampade anche in spazi angusti, vicino a materiali pregiati o plastici o in ambienti climatizzati consentendo soluzioni di illuminazione non praticabili con le normali lampade.
